WE KNOW HER AS THE ANCHOR.

Diana Matroos is a well-known TV/radio personality who has been participating in the Dutch media for more than twenty years. We know her as the anchor of various programs. RTL News (TV newsreader) and BNR (radio, in-depth interviews), journalist, frequently asked chairman for (international conferences) and anchor of the live political TV discussion program Buitenhof where she has interviewed the top leaders of the Netherlands and abroad, including an hour with Prime Minister Rutte which was mentioned in the Washington Post and Al Jazeera because of his statements about Trump and where the term white wine sipping elite was introduced.

WITH GUTS.

Her public statement for inclusion and cultural diversity in the media as a colored woman and her TV appearance during the Carré Debate where she, just before the national elections (2017), questioned 8 party leaders in a sharp - almost Anglo-Saxon - question fire for a million audience. In both cases she came under fire herself because it had never been seen before.

AND AN ABSOLUTE LOVE FOR IN-DEPTH INTERVIEWS.

Diana's absolute love IS in-depth interviews. She currently does this daily in a live radio show BNR's Big Five, where she daily interviews 1 top guest about an important sector/theme solo for 1 hour.

ALSO WITH THE ROYALS.

Her latest achievement: a well-watched TV portrait about the royals: ‘Prince Constantijn, more than a prince’ on national tv station RTL4 and Videoland, where the Royal House really opened the door for the first time through never-before-seen images and a genuine and vulnerable conversation with the prince was born.

AND ALWAYS WITH AN INVOLVEMENT IN SOCIETY

And further….Diana is a board member at SIRE, Stichting Ideële Reclame and Stichting Buitenhuis, a permanent home for severely mentally and physically disabled children, founded by parents. She studied Cultural Social Education, has a family, grew up in poverty and managed to fight her way to the top in the media as a colored woman.

WITH THE HELP OF HER HIGH-LEVEL NETWORK.

Diana has a high-level network. I started in 2012 with the daily show '“Zakendoen met” in which I interviewed CEOs and entrepreneurs about (business) life. On television, I’m the neutral guide through the news, on the radio I can show more of myself. With an open mind I try to find out what moves my guests. What keeps them awake at night? What is their surprising side? What can we learn from them? My motto: hard on content, soft on the person. Radio has to be exciting, but intimate as well.
